April

5. Astronaut Peggy Whitson has set a new space record for most days in space by a US astronaut, breaking previous record set by Jeff Williams who had spent total 534 days in space.
6. British Finance Minister Philip Hammond (Also called Chancellor of the Exchequer) visited India Participated in 9th UK-India Economic and Financial Dialogue in New Delhi. India and UK launched joint UKIndia Fund, namely a Green Growth Equity Fund which aims to leverage private sector investments from London in green infrastructure projects in India. Both governments will invest up to £120 million each (i.e. totally £ 240 million) in joint fund which will be established under NIIF framework.
